I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Charlie Cawley. My condolences to his family. One of my fondest memories of working at MBNA was when Mr. Cawley provided food and flowers for my grandmother's funeral. He didn't know me personally and I was not even yet a senior officer. But nonetheless, he extended that courtesy to me as one of his employees. I never felt like a number at his company as many people now do wherever they work. MBNA was truly magical and it was because of his spirit and vision. You will be greatly missed, Mr. Cawley. Rest in peace.
