Jims large family, so many he never got to meet.

For the last 27 years jimmy not only had his brothers, he had 6 step siblings, though he had only met his step brother Bobby and his family in Vasselboro Maine since his 5 step sisters, Denise, Susan, Lisa, Robin and Laurie, live with their familie in California. These loving people only knew him only thru his brothers and Bob and my stories about our mostly missing boy. They often asked about and said they hoped to meet Jim and were happy for us when he finally came home to again a part of his family. Jim had come to visit during the years but his time here never coordinated with their visits. He was part of the 10 kids, who have given us our large and loving family, but he was our missing link. I want to thank each one for their loving phone calls and concern for us in our grief, they grieve with us for the brother they did not know and for the family here who loved him. I give special thanks to Bobby and his wife Ann who have welcomed him with open hearts and are helping Meg and Marks family provide an open house for friends after Jimmys service on Monday. Aside from my family, His fathers family, most of whom are in California have never forgotten him and many of them have reached out to his brothers Mark and David over the years asking how he was, especially his dad's sisters Penny and Pam. For most of his life jimmy chose to be away from all of us, yet he made family of friends where ever he went...in honesty I say I was jealous of them. Now that I see the outpouring from people from all over, who none of us ever met, I'm glad he had all of you. His was a journey his family could not join but I'm glad he was not alone. I'm grateful for these past few years to have him near, to hug and cook for and laugh with often. I am finding great peace in that. Jimmys mom Sue
