What can I say about Thelma but only good things. Thelma was a great, caring, loving friend. Not only was she my boss but I thought if her as a good friend. She taught me so much in my nursing career as a nurses aide
I not only worked at the nursing home under her, but I also did some private duty at her home. She always wanted me to further my career and become a nurse, but I told her no way. I love taken care of the residents, I don't like all those responsibilities that a nurse has to do no way not for me. Even though I knew to treat the elderly with gentle care she also taught me to listen to their stories. You can call warn a lot from them. Thelma always seem to be on the go. I am sorry I did not keep in touch with her as much as I had wanted to. I am praying for the rest of the family as they go through each day without her. You are at peace now my friend. Now you can rest. Thank you for being my boss and my friend. Dedde Radley

I worked with Deanie for years at 2 different nursing facilities. The best nurse I've ever been associated with. She also had the best hair! She wore it pinned up with a barrette and nurses' cap for years. One evening on 3-11, after Deanie worked her typical 16 hour shift, my friend and I finally convinced her to take it down so we could see it. I have such great memories of her and what a fantastic nurse and caring person she was. Condolences to her family. ~Jennifer
