Kenneth Strong Axelson, 93, died peacefully on May 23, 2016, surrounded by loving family members, at the Sussman House in Rockport, in the room gifted by him and his wife.

A celebration of his life will be scheduled for later in the year at the Farnsworth Art Museum which was a focus of his retirement as a trustee and benefactor for the past twenty plus years.
