Condolence: Our Uncle Arthur was a "gentle giant" who always had a twinkle in his eye and an awesome smile. A wonderful kind man who will never be forgotten. Forever Loved!

Condolence From: Victoria Kinney
Condolence: Arthur was my father in law. He was a wonderful man. I always spoke of him as a Gentle Giant. Despite his tall stature, he was a big teddy bear. A beautiful smile only second to his baby blues. He was humble. His family was most important to him and he worked very hard in his life to take care and provide for them. He instilled a strong work ethic in his children. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Condolence: Tuesday I arrived a Knox and learned of Arthur's passing, I too will miss him.
He was so pleasant, never did hear of a complaint from him. I will certainly miss him, but believe he is in a better place keeping things orderly. For you , as a family, much as you knew he needed to be free from his present illness, you will miss him tremdously, and surely you all have wonderful memories.

Corrine, your journey forward will certanly be different after all those years of daily trips to the home. MAY GOD BLESS YOU. Elinor

I got to know Art and his family from the years I worked at the Knox Center....I can't begin to tell you all the wonderful things about Arthur that I got to share and witness in the short time I knew him. What an amazing man!!! Such a gentle kind soul!! My heart breaks for his family, they too are so kind! Arthur was such a ray of light, my heart is heavy as I think that his time on this earth is over...Rest Easy Arthur...hope to see you again someday in Heaven!!!

Condolence From: Neil Simmons
Condolence: The Simmons Family ( Ivan & Doris & boys ) grew up in Port Clyde and knew Arthur during the 50's and 60's. He was well-liked and a real gentleman. The last time I saw him was at the St. George Annual Chowder dinner, and he was as friendly and great guy to talk with as always. He will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know him.
