Good Memories

I want to express my deep sadness over the loss of a great cousin.  Wayne and his family spent many great hours with me and my family especially in childhood. Times at the home in Winslow and at the cottage on East Pond were very special. In adulthood, our paths seldom crossed until he moved to the coast. A few visits with him and Paula rekindled childhood memories and also proved how great a wife he had found. I think their love was very special and I enjoyed seeing them together. I soon moved away and only family funerals brought us togther over the past two decades. Wayne had a soft spot for his memmere and peppere Vigue, whom we shared. His family heritage meant something to him. In recent years, he tried to bring us cousins together and I'm sorry I didn't follow his lead. His short illness and tragic death leave us all feeling a deep sense of loss. Wayne was a good man and his family can be proud of his legacy of honesty, hard work, and love for all.
