Charlotte Louise  Reiner
CAMDEN - Charlotte "Louise" Reiner, 94, died peacefully, Monday, August 11, 2008 at Quarry Hill in Camden.
Born in Waterville, November 17, 1913, she was the daughter of George and Tessa Littlefield Robertson. Louise was brought up on Isleboro, and worked on her grandparents' farm.
For over 25 years she worked at the Blue Bell Restaurant in Newton, Massachusetts as a cook, retiring in the 1970s.
She was also employed as a nurse's aide at Newton-Wellesley Hospital for nine years.
Louise greatly enjoyed knitting. She also kept many bird feeders and enjoyed bird-watching.
Her son remembers she always had a big smile for everyone she came in contact with. He said she had a big heart.
Mrs. Reiner was predeceased by two husbands, Hugh Thomas Comiskey in 1961 and Bernard Reiner in 1992; and a son, Hugh Thomas Comiskey, Jr. in 2005. She is survived by her son, Bruce Comiskey of Union; as well as three granddaughters.
A burial at Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta was held Wednesday, August 13, 2008.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
