Arthur A  Gray
A graveside service will be held at Achorn Cemetery
on May 3, 2004 at 10:00 a.m.
THOMASTON - Arthur A. "Tinker" Gray, 65, died following a brief illness, Thursday January 29, 2004 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center.
Born in Rockland, August 26, 1938, he was the son of Augustus E. and Mildred Flora Wall Gray. He was educated in local schools, and attended Rockland High School.
Early in his career Mr. Gray was employed with First National Stores in Rockland for several years. He moved on to work with Curtis Food Center, and later worked briefly with Glenn Raye's Grocery Store in Rockland.
Mr. Gray enjoyed playing the guitar, drawing, and was an avid flower and vegetable gardener. For the past several years he resided at Lucette Boarding Home here.
Pre-deceased by his sister, Ethel "Chopper" DeMass in 2003, he is survived by his brother Ernest Gray and his wife Terry of Warren; his sister Juanita Myrick and her husband James; and stepfather, Edward Andrews, all of Rockland as well as several nieces and nephews.
A grave side service will be announced in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, Always and Forever Memorial Program, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.
