Condolences

Condolence From: Sue Snow
Condolence: Faith,
I was saddened to see of your mothers passing. I have many fond memories of her. We worked for many years together at Senter Crane and spent many a lunch hour together in the break room. She was a very wise and kind woman with a great sense of humor and a contagious smile. My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. I hope that you are comforted by all the wonderful memories that you have of her.

Condolence: Dear Faith, Diane and James,

Our sincerest sympathy to all of you in the loss of your mother, Carolyn. Although we have only known Lee and Carolyn since moving next door to them just six years ago, we enjoyed their friendship greatly. I remember not long after we first moved in and was outside one evening with our little dachshund Heidi that I noticed someone standing in the road in front of their house. Wondering just what might be going on, I wandered over and discovered Carolyn gazing into the heavens. Not yet knowing of her deep fondness and knowledge of astronomy, I asked what she was looking at and she replied that the space station was due to make a pass by any minute. We stayed there waiting, chatting; and after it passed by, each said goodbye to the other and went into our own homes. There were many other evenings when we visited outside for the same purpose. Along with many other folks, we will greatly miss seeing her outside in the evenings waiting for the space station to pass by or during the day walking merrily through the neighborhood. Our friendship with both of them was short compared to many of their other friends but we will cherish those memories nonetheless. Jim and Marlene

Condolence: Dear James and the rest of the Pendleton family, Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of Carolyn. It was wonderful that she could remain at home, with your support. It was also good to hear that she kept her sense of humor, surely one of her most endearing qualities.
I fondly remember staying with Carolyn and Leland many years ago, surrounded by their puns, laughter, and enjoyment of each moment. As we departed the house one evening, Carolyn chimed out, "now you boys be careful out there", surely an endearing chastisement to adult children. Their happiness certainly infected me and many others around them.
Again, my deepest sympathies on your loss. The memories are precious.
