Marion Louise "'Billie'"  Morse (Estes)
ROCKLAND - Marion L. ‘Billie’ Morse, 86, died peacefully Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Knox Center in Rockland, following a long illness.

Born in Pittsfield, September 5, 1925, she was the daughter of Leslie E. and Annie Steeves Estes. At an early age, she moved to her grandparents’ Thomaston home, where she attended Thomaston schools.

In 1941, she married Victor P. Daniello. The couple resided on Broad Street where they raised their family. Mr. Daniello died in 1962.

In 1963, Billie married Clarence W. Morse. The couple created and enjoyed a blended, happy family. Mr. Morse died in 1986.

A devoted mother and homemaker, for many years Billie was an Avon Representative in the Rockland area. Her family remembered her wonderful cooking and said she was well known for her pasta dishes and baked beans & hotdogs.
She was an avid Bingo player, loved going to lawn sales and particularly enjoyed going to breakfast every morning at Dave’s Restaurant. Billie considered her dogs as family. Watching soap operas was another of Billie’s favorite pastimes.

She was a member of the Penobscot View Grange in Glen Cove.

Other than her parents and husbands, Billie was pre-deceased by a daughter, Annie Louise Daniello; three sons, Victor E., Frederick and Dennis Daniello; her brother, Edward Estes; her grandson, Timothy M. Morse; her nephew Robert P. Estes; as well as her daughter-in-law Joan Daniello. She is survived by five sons, David Daniello and his wife Geraldine of Rockland, Ronald Daniello of Thomaston, Jeffrey Daniello of Auburn, Alan Daniello of Belfast, Timothy Morse and his wife Holly of Thomaston; four step-daughters, Shelia Fuller of Belmont, Kathy Morin of Searsport, Arlene Robbins of Raymond, NH, Cheryl Terry of Ulster, PA; 18 grandchildren including Lisa Daniello, Scott Daniello, Nancy Ann Macri, Andrew Daniello, David M. Daniello, Dennis Daniello, Jr., Lori Ann Withrow, Ronald Daniello, Jr., Corey Daniello, Eric Daniello and his wife Megan, Jody Daniello, Patrick Daniello, Amy Beth Winchenbaugh, Michael J. Daniello, Jackie Ann Daniello, Julia A. Daniello, Matt Morse, Noah Morse; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and one great-great-grandchild on the way; nieces and nephews including, Deanna Ripley, Leslie Estes, Linda Estes, Donald Estes; her sister-in-law Alice Estes of St. George; two daughters-in-law, Judy Daniello of Owls Head and Joyce Daniello of Gray; as well as her former daughter-in-law and good friend Judy Winchenbaugh of Rockland.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of St. George, Wiley’s Corner, St. George. Pastor Walden Chandler will officiate. Interment will follow in North Parish Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Knox County, P.O. Box 1294, Rockland, ME 04841.
