I looked this morning only to see your name listed as one of those that have now passed. I am sorry to see that your family has lost one so dear. I remember that you were friends with my parents and came out to Pulpit Harbor in one of your planes in 1965 to give me a birthday ride in it. I was only 5 at the time but it's one memory that I will never forget. Also since my father was from Vinalhaven, he had a piece of the Steamer Castine cut from its timbers and gave it to me. So a little bit of you is here with me today. Again I'm sorry that your large and loving family has lost a great person. My condolences to them all.
