Obituary for Veronica Yvone "Robin" Falkenmeyer (Falkenmeyer)

ROCKLAND - Veronica Yvonne Falkenmeyer, 66, died Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Knox Center for Long Term Care following a lifelong illness.
Born in Rockland on June 16, 1953 to William and Catherine (Haggerty) Falkenmeyer, Veronica was known as Robin to those that knew her.
When she was one year old, Robin contracted Polio which she somehow survived even after the Doctors said she would not. Unfortunately, the Polio caused many health issues and Robin was bedridden for the rest of her life.
Predeceased by her mother and father, she is survived by her sister, Winnie Johnson and her husband Gus of Ashtabula Ohio; her brother William R. Falkenmeyer Jr and his wife Linda of Rockland; her nieces Tammy, and Tina, her nephew Sean, and many cousins that include a special 2nd cousin, Terri Hallowell, who always had time to visit and talk to Robin at the Knox Center.
Her family wishes to express many thanks to the people at the Knox Center who took such loving care of Robin over the years.
In keeping with the family’s wishes there will be no public services as they remember Robin’s life privately.
