How do I tell a story about my dear sweet friend Pheneta with out it being the length of a Epistle? I, Karen, a servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, write to you good people of Rockland, and surrounding villages, to proclaim Grace and Peace to you as I honor Pheneta, my sister in Christ, my other mother, my pray warrior, my example of a real relationship with her Heavenly Father, faithful explorer of the Bible, committed friend. I have already been missing her for a couple of years, she left me a while ago. But I have 20 years of wonderful memories starting with Tres Dias of Maine, I loved her the first day we met! And it has grown more than any one could imagine. I could call her from the locker room, distraught with fear and just say Pheneta pray for me now and she would not knowing anything about what was going on. She talked to her Heavenly Father as if he was sitting beside her on the couch. Could you help me get my socks on? Can I go talk to my neighbor today? No, not yet was His response. Her faith should be all caps: FAITH because it was that big. I know I'm not the only one who has asked God why is she having to stay here when she just wants to come home to you. Why did she have to be fearful and anxious in her final years when she spent her life loving you? That's when I just have to say maybe someday I'll know the big picture and I can celebrate that even though we were parted for a time, we will see each other in Gloryland, and I will rejoice! Love and prayers to her extended family, whom I have heard so many stories about. You all are her favorite topic, her joy. I am with you in thought. Karen Dow
