Obituary for Perikli "Peter" Bicaj
WARREN – Perikli J. Bicaj, known locally as ‘Peter’, passed away at the Sussman Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family, Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the age of 69.
Born in Albania, May 11, 1952, he was the son of Jorgji and Olga Bicaj.
Perikli moved to Rockland in 1995 and soon thereafter, he began employment with Bicknell Manufacturing and Lie-Nielson Toolworks.
In 2006 he received his Master’s License in Heating and Cooling. Over the years he has worked for Maritime Energy and Dead River Company. After retiring, he worked part time for Maine Energy.
Perikli lived life to the fullest, and loved traveling with friends and family. He especially enjoyed visiting Jamaica.
He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.
He leaves behind his wife, Klarita Bicaj; sons, Stjuart Bicaj and his wife Nora, Ogi ‘Bicaj and his wife Sonila; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Abigail, Noah and Zoica Bicaj.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. A graveside celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 3, at the Achorn Cemetery, Old County Road, Rockland.
