With his wife Shirley, Lloyd attended Abundant Grace Fellowship Church in Searsmont.

Other than his parents, Lloyd was pre-deceased by his first wife Eliza; his daughter Linda L. Richards Dodge; his siblings, Charles, Bernard, Roland, Raymond, Gerald, Kenneth, Marietta, Christina, and Georgianna. He is survived by his wife Shirley Hooper of Thomaston and her children; his sister Edith Poulin of Satuma, FL; a cousin Edna and Tom Vaughn of Stockton Springs, as well as many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
