Obituary for Linda Gail Bunsick

CUSHING – Linda G. Bunsick, 72, passed away peacefully at the Sussman House on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, with her family by her side.

Born in Abington, Pennsylvania, April 19, 1950, she was the daughter of William R. and Evelyn N. Brasier. Linda attended and graduated from William Tenant High School in Warminster, PA.

Linda made lots of friends with clients over the years, while she owned her cleaning business in Pennsylvania and in Maine. She started off as a very small seasonal cleaning business, then advertised and got to know the local people and her business grew. She ultimately passed her cleaning business off to her daughter Kimmie. She went on to work with her husband Chet, as his office manager at his insurance company in the most recent years.

Family meant everything to Linda. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, especially when doing holiday activities, spending time outdoors, and watching movies. She also enjoyed camping and sightseeing. She was very crafty, doing a lot of needlepoint and making holiday-themed decor. She also greatly enjoyed going antiquing, finding agateware, old cast iron kitchen items and kettles were some of her favorites. While she and her family lived in PA., they spent a couple weeks every year, since the 70’s, at an Owl’s Head rustic cabin on the water. She fell in love with Maine and moved up here permanently in 1995.

Linda was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Chester Bunsick, Jr.; two daughters, Kimmie Adams, Melissa King and husband Martin, Jr.; two brothers, William “Bill” Brasier and wife Linda, Don Carignan and wife Kimberly; six grandchildren whom she adored, Martin III, Sierra, Logan, Riley, Colton, and Aislinn.
