I worked for Ken's brother Sidney Orne for 5 1'2 years at the Courier Gazette. It was there that I first met Kenneth. Later on when I worked at Walmart, Ken and his wife would come in and we would always chat and reminiss.. Mr. Orne, you will be missed but not forgotten.

Just a funny little memory: when I was pregnant with Shannon, Ken would sometimes walk up to see Gary & I. One evening he came in & I was doing dishes (quite pregnant!).. Ken looked at Gary and told him he should be doing the dishes not me. Gary asked him if he had done it for his mother & Ken said he had.. I laughed.. Gary chuckled. I continued to be the one doing dishes .LOL.. this just comes to mind every once in a while and when it does I still smile. Ken helped Gary clear our land to build the house, put in the wood stove at that house as well as other things over the years. He was a smart man and jack of all trades. God Bless and R.I. P Ken.
