LAWRENCE, KANSAS – Frederick ‘Skip’ Favreau, 82, former Rockland resident, died peacefully, December 16, 2021 in Lawrence, Kansas.
Born in Rockland, October 21, 1938, he was the son of James and Arlene Robbins Favreau. He was educated in Rockland school, graduating from Rockland High School.
Following high school, Skip enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served for over 27 years. Throughout his career he was stationed in many different locations and had the opportunity to see the world. He earned the rank of Senior Chief before his retirement.
For many years Skip resided in Colorado Springs, CO with his wife Martha Conrad Favreau before settling in Kansas.
Mr. Favreau is survived by his wife, Martha and her family of Lawrence, KS; two sons; two daughters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother James Favreau and his wife Dorothy of Rockland; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Mr. Favreau will be buried in his family plot at Achorn Cemetery, Rockland.
