Obituary for Cindy Lou Dennison

WALDOBORO - Cindy Lou (Philip) Dennison, 66, passed away, November 30, 2022 at the Sussman House in Rockport after a short battle with cancer.

Cindy was born in Rockland on October 26, 1956 to Fred and Nancy Phillip. She was raised in Rockland and attended local schools with her siblings Cheryl, Angela, Annette, and Freddy John.

After graduating from high school, Cindy married her first husband Daniel Pease and had their son Joshua. Later in life, Cindy married Randy Dennison. They lived in Spruce Head for many years, raising their children Ryan and Mandy.

Cindy was known as a very hard worker. She worked for many local banks and stores over the years, but she loved her job at IGA grocery store the most. Always enjoying the opportunity to help someone and get to know them.

Many fond memories were made at local fairs and parades, with Cindy making sure her children attended as many as she could bring them to. For years, the family maintained large gardens and canned an abundance of produce for winter. Every Sunday, the family would go to Randy’s mother Phillis’ home to share a luncheon that was provided by the spoils of everyone’s gardens.

Cindy was well known for her large heart and sense of humor. On Wednesday nights you could find her at the Elks Lodge playing bingo with her ginger ale and peppermint patties close by. She had a fierce love for animals.

Cindy held a deep love for her grandchildren Kayla, Ava, Nathaniel, Abigail, Chloe, and Rashay. There was rarely a picture of her without one of her grandchildren in her arms.

The later part of her life Cindy lived in Waldoboro with her domestic partner Russell Campbell and their two dogs.

Cindy was pre deceased by her parents Fred and Nancy Phillip. She is survived by her partner Russell Campbell and their two dogs; two sons, Joshua Pease and wife Denise, Ryan Dennison and his fiancé Morgan Farley; one daughter Mandy Dennison; six grandchildren, Kayla, Ava, Nathaniel, Abigail, Chloe, and Rashay and many other family and friends whom she cared about.
