Moving to Maine in our senior years was helped so much by meeting Carol at church. She invited me to join her bridge group. That started 10-15 years of a weekly game that couldn't be beat.
A dear, dear friend whose memory will always make me smile.
So generous, so kind and always a lot of fun.
She has been a blessing in my life.

Carol, Agnes and I were neighbors for many years. But, we became not only friends, but also family. It for so that I never knocked, just walked in the back door saying, Carol! We were both named Carol. I don't think that, that was what bonded us so.
Carol was a very special person, someone with whom you wanted to spend time. She was kind, easy, non-judgmental and wise, and on top of that she had a very dry, well formed sense of humor. It was a hard day for both of us when I moved, but Carol said, "It is the right thing to do. Your mother needs you." To say that her presence will be missed is an understatement. She lived her life as she saw fit and she will be missed by everyone who knew her. Sending much love to you, Carol Witham
