My mother was many things to me but most importantly she was someone I aspired to be like in her faith. I always say that my dad taught me to dream but my mother taught me to pray. She loved God and her family. She loved the underdog and the poor. She loved simple pleasures and was at peace with her own company. She was an amazing mother who cared about her children and wanted to do everything for their joy and comfort. Even in the end, she was still trying to figure out ways to help us get things done!

I am forever grateful for this woman in my life and the times that I shared with her.

Her daughter, Kathy
