Barb was a friend to David and me for over 25 years, but one of the many wonderful things about her was that she became your friend as soon as she met you. We have so many great memories and we are heartbroken to have lost her so soon. Years ago, dinners with her and Dwayne at their house or ours, Christmas and New Year's parties. (How Barb hated decorating for Christmas, but she had the best party games so everyone got to know each other). Annual out of town Christmas shopping day trips with the girls. A long weekend with us at our camp with Dwayne, Barb, John, Kay, Daphne and Chipper is also a great memory- although camp was again not Barb's thing- she was as always a good sport. So many visits to fellow lodges over the years and great fun each time. We hold a special place in our hearts for Dwayne, Barb's children and grandchildren and always will. I believe that we are gifts to each other for as long as we are given and each day is to be cherished. It is why small stuff should not matter. I am grateful for Barb's many years of friendship and count myself lucky to have known her. She is the best example that I can think of having a heart for others. We will miss you, Barb. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Dwayne and family.
