Dwayne, Charlene, Ang and Shawn I was deeply heartbroken when I got the call of Barb's passing. I have a lot of fond memories of her. I remember meeting her when all the kids where young and Dwayne and I worked together. She had an infectious smile, laugh and sense of Humor. She introduced me to the "County", saw my first moose, got to go the Fort Fairfield Potato Festival, heard stories about Radar, Roger and of course horny horseshoe. I heard her version of a couple of oldies but goodies and of course Henry the VIII. Dwayne and Barb testing me on all of Dwayne's brothers name and the order of the birth. I know the names but not the order of delivery. We delivered a lot of newspapers together, my favorite day was when she was driving the subie and I said nice puppy and she turns and sees a great dane and says, "puppy my butt (you know what she really said)". We laughed the rest of the way home. We drove done Main Street one night and two young men slowed down and asked Barb if we were really guys...she laughed and said "she isn't but I am." She went on to explain that she married a man with the last name Guy. She also love to tell people she once was a girl but now a Guy! So many great memories! I remember meeting her extended family up North. Aunt Theresa, cousin Cathy, Sylvio, Uncle Romeo and so many more. Aunt Theresa was always the first stop and last stop leaving the County.... had to have those cookies for the ride home! Barb was a good friend....just never let her get mad at you. She introduced me to the Emblem Club. She was a proud member and when she finally became an Elk through Augusta and then transferring to Rockland it meant the world to her. Her role as Exultant Ruler for two years was a dream come true. Through her association with these clubs her call to community service was top notch. All you had to do was put a bug in her ear and she would run with it. She raised a lot of awareness through the years for DARE, Cancer Fund and scholarship. Given 100% of herself to causes she believed in. I for one will miss her smile and getting caught up times, even if just a brief passing. Dwayne you were the love of her life, the kids were her pride and joy, no words to describe how she felt about her grandchildren. Dwayne, Charlene, Ang and Shawn you have my deepest condolences and are in my thoughts and prayers. She will be missed greatly and remembered fondly. Kelley
