ROCKPORT - Georgianna Michaud passed away at her home, Thursday, April 6, 2017 after a struggle with the ravages of addiction. She was born on September 13, 1967, the daughter of Delcie Michaud and Marilyn (Moore) Michaud, in Presque Isle, Maine. She is predeceased by her parents and paternal sister Sharon Carlina.

She leaves a devoted partner John Young of Rockport and his children, Matthew, Dianna, and Nicole. She also leaves two sisters, Kathryn of Fort Fairfield, Barbara of Portland; brother Charles of Bangor. She enjoyed a large extended family and is survived by her mother’s siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was an exceptionally talented vocalist and enjoyed time spent singing and making music. Remember her beauty, love of nature, and sensitive spirit.

No services are planned, but a private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family asks for your support of local addiction treatment services and recovery programs.
