Obituary for Elizabeth L. Robinson

SOUTH HOPE - Elizabeth Leach Robinson, 74, died with her husband at her side, Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland.
Born in Rockland, March 22, 1936, she was the daughter of Elmer and Marion Green Leach. Educated in Rockland, she was a 1954 graduate of Rockland High School.
On May 29, 1956 she married Marquis "Mark" Robinson in Rockland.
Mrs. Robinson is remembered as a devoted wife and mother. For many years she enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She took great pleasure in making baby clothes as gifts for her grandchildren.
Her skills were evident to anyone who entered her home. It was tastefully decorated with the many colorful afghans and well dressed dolls she had created.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband of 54 years, Marquis Robinson of South Hope; her two sons, Mark Robinson and his wife Yolaine of Amarillo, Texas, Bryan Robinson of Warren; two brothers, Louis Leach and his wife Agnes of Owls Head, Robert Leach of Palm City, Florida; five grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Mrs. Robinson's wishes, no services will be held.
