Patti received the most joy from her six grandchildren, who she spent much of her later days with. She was known by many as simply "Grammy Patti". For more than 35 years, she has been a communicant of St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Rockland, was a member of the University of Massachusetts Alumni Association, and was once honored by induction into the "Who's Who Among American Business Women".
