Obituary for Daniel Robbins

Daniel  Robbins
OWLS HEAD - Daniel Robbins, 48, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport.
Born in Rockport, January 31, 1962, he was the son of Asa and Kathleen Eaton Robbins. Growing up in Rockland, he was educated in local schools.
For several years he worked at North Atlantic Seafood and Beaver Enterprises. He later worked at Fisher Engineering, all in Rockland.
Danny was long interested in antique automobiles, particularly Chevrolets. He enjoyed working on and tinkering with cars, and building models.
His sister Francis said of her brother, "Wherever he went, we all went!", meaning Danny, Francis and their Mother.
Danny loved his mother with whom he resided and helped in her daily care.
Other than his father, Danny was pre-deceased by a brother, Larry Robbins. He is survived by his mother of Owls Head; three brothers, Asa W. Robbins of Belfast, Jimmy Robins of Rockport, Augustus 'Gussy' Robbins of Rockland; two sisters, Flora McClure and her husband George 'DD' of Rockland, Frances Robbins of Owls Head; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
No service will be held at this time.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
