Obituary for Susan Elaine Perrin

Susan Elaine Perrin
ROCKLAND - Susan E. Perrin, 52, died peacefully, following an extended period of declining health, Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Born December 5, 1961 in Washingtonville, New York, Susan was the daughter of Robert and Mary Greene Huson. Educated locally she graduated high school there before attending the Orange County Community College where she earned her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Susan worked as a nurse in New York for over 15 years while her family was growing up. For many years she worked as a nurse in the Med Surge Department.

After vacationing in Maine for many years with her parents, Susan moved here with her children in the mid 1990’s. While in Maine she worked as a nurse at Camden Health Care Center, continuing in that capacity at Quarry Hill.

To Susan family was her number one priority. She loved being with her children, and even worked with them at their place of employment during the day, after working the night shift, just so she could spend more time with them. She loved baking and providing meals for everyone in her home. She had many friends of all ages, and enjoyed keeping up with everyone on Facebook.

She loved horses, and grew up with them in New York. Most recently took great joy in collecting figurines and knick-knacks. Susan’s spunk and tenacity will be missed by all who knew her.

Predeceased by her father, Susan is survived by her mother, Mary Huson of Jefferson; her sons, Justin Perrin, Michael Perrin and his companion Destiny Turner all of Rockland; and her sister Patricia Graham of Grahamsville, New York.

A private gathering will be held at the family home at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland.
