Why You Should Pre-Plan For Your Funeral Today

About Us

Since death is a topic most would like to avoid, many people do not plan their funeral arrangements in advance.  However, many other aspects of life are planned well in advance, so why should anyone wait until sickness or death occurs to make important funeral service decisions?  Advance planning provides several benefits for you and your family.

  • Pre-arrangements alleviate the burden and stress of making difficult decisions while dealing with the loss of a loved one
  • Pre-arrangements enable your  personal preferences to be fulfilled and grant your family the assurance of knowing that the selected arrangements reflect your true wishes
  • Pre-arrangements permit you enough time to make sure that every detail is taken care of
  • Pre-paid arrangements eliminate undue financial stress at the time of death

Why You Should Pre-Finance Your Funeral Arrangements

Merchandise

Pre-arranging your funeral requires NO PAYMENT upfront.  However, with the rising costs of funerals, pre-financing your services ensures that your desired arrangements are paid for.  Many individuals decide to invest in a funeral trust account to fund their arrangements.  The interest earned by the account is used to offset any inflation, and at the time of death, any interest exceeding the agreed upon total will be given to the next of kin.  For those not interested in establishing a trust, Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins allows you to make arrangements now and fund them at a later date.  Regardless of your decision, pre-paying in any form is a sound investment.
